Alison + Jonny | Old Marylebone Town Hall Wedding

An intimate Wedding in Old Marylebone Town Hall, London

Last month in mid September, I followed Alison and Jonny to Old Marylebone Town Hall and Regents park in London, photographing their cutest moments. All I had to do was tell them to make each other laugh, and their bubbling personalities took over. Their closest family joined them in the beautiful Old Marylebone Town Hall in central London. It was a perfect day for a city wedding, and when the ceremony ended they headed to the pub, which they had all to themselves. Alison moved to London from Boston, USA, to work for the NHS as a nurse. Her plan was a year abroad, but after meeting Jonny through mutual friends, her plans changed forever. Once their visa paperwork is approved, she’ll be brining home a hubby as her English souvenir!

There’s something about small personal weddings that are insanely romantic. Don’t get me wrong…I love a big festival wedding bash (and want one for my husband and I in the future). But all anyone really needs to have the best wedding possible is a great outfit, your partner, and your closest loved ones to make the day amazing.

Alison and Jonny, and both of their families, were so kind and friendly to me on their wedding day! Jonny’s family were from Liverpool, and Alison’s from Boston, and together they made a chatty bunch of happy family. Congratulations to you two, and good luck on your journey together!

They had their ceremony in the gorgeous and moody Marylebone Room, at Old Marylebone Town Hall
